  I wasn't able to renew it when I tried during the sale, mostly because I hit the window where credit cards weren't processing. But also, I wanted to buy 6 months, and it looks like that's impossible because right now I'm on the 3-month plan. I didn't want to cancel the auto-renew and then forget to re-enable it. It'd be nice to be able to switch without having to go to a separate screen.

  After reading the proposed abilities for power creeps, I found them to be extraordinary as well. Abilities like "Kill" and "DISABLE_TOWER" will have drastic effects on sieges giving up much of the defender's advantage in the existing game design. I'm finding it stressful to imagine making a power creep defense that is "safe" from other power creeps and newer players are pretty overwhelmed going up against boosted creeps as it is, power creeps + boosted creeps would be more or less unstoppable. With so many abilities, it'll be hard to account for and test each one when building an active creep defense. Due to the range on the kill ability, The only way a non-power player can stay safe it is to build a base that is entirely ramparted which can lead to base layout conformity. I'd like to see more balance with power creeps and more ways of countering them without power by spending high amounts of energy, cpu, spawn time, etc.

  Its 20 Rooms to the nearest open space so I'd need to do that twice. This would make inter-shard play something that only players near the middle can do.

  Thank you for raising this issue. I'll try to clarify the situation from my side. First, there was no battle between Kritias and me yet. As usual, I contacted everyone at the processed sectors far before I have access to them. I asked Kritias to leave the sector peacefully, but he decided to stay and fight for his rooms. He explicitly agreed to be attacked. I offered him a time to prepare but he said I'm free to do it when I want. Second, there is a simple policy for all cases like novice/respawn zone or closing sectors: if you need room, you reserve it. Devs didn't close any single room which were claimed or reserved. If you don't reserve the room, you don't need it. Third, direct access is two-way road: now I have my newly build base being accessed by four Kritias's RCL8 rooms and two more RCL7s without an opportunity to properly fortify my new base. So it's not that uniquely who got the advantage. Forth, to Kritias. If you think that devs made a decision that you think not fair, please feel free to drop a ticket into the support system ("Report a problem") and explain why do you think closing the sector wasn't fair to you.

  @stevetrov i am not really struggling. I play this game and try to figure out lots of thing. Some of my though i could solve by self. I just asking gernerally how you guys learn to code or learn a language for programming. I mean what was your strategy to learn coding? i do lots of example from other people and books how to do this and that but it dont give you a complete understanding of the language/coding. In my opinion if i keep learning the API and how it should be writen in this game i could code in this game without reading tutorials anymore.

  @ignarl It's fine to look for programmers in Screeps. I'm not sure about this forums tho. You can try, but it's not that many people here. You may wish to use game slack instead, #general or something.

  Nope, the only rule in regards to multiple accounts is that you can't "Register more than one account to play the Game." there are currently many public codebases available.

  @artch I also, don't like the idea of a paid shard, it would split the community too much imo.
