  (RC1<RC2 || RL1<RL2). I think this is a great idea, but you need to add disabling this functionality for experts: (RC1<RC2 || RL1<RL2) && (RC1 < 4) && (RL1 < 8).

  Here is my off the cuff design of how to add market data into Sim. Use #client-abuse to inject javascript into the browser client. The user screeps code creates two functions: abuseclientmarket and ingestmarket. The human loads their screeps script up in the Sim and executes abuseclientmarket in the web client console. The injected javascript "borrows" the browser's credentials of the browser to query to the market REST api. The injected script then creates a web client console command to ingestmarket with the JSON data from the market. ingestmarket uses the JSON data to create an api compatible fake of the real Game.market api. The fake market updates / removes orders etc as the user interacts with the fake api. This could also be done offline without #client-abuse. Scrape the market REST api into a JSON string. Then paste that string into your screeps code. Then whenever you want to play with the market call injestmarket. The market data will be as stale as your last scrape. A key limitation is that there is no way for the Sim to affect the real Screeps World market in any way. The Sim is just getting a local copy.

  The game natively supports Javascript and Webassembly, all other languages are supported either by transpiling to javascript or compiling to WASM. Since a OCami->javascript transpiler already exists, just use that

  @tehfiend ah yes, I was refering to Room.lookForAtArea (suggested that because you mentioned range of 3). agree with all your thoughts. [EDIT] ah, now I got what you mean by "travel distance 3", not roads in range of 3 from start pos but path to a road which ends at the range of 3 from closest

  @systemparadox The implication may be quite practical. For example I once found the blog post about pathfinding in the Factorio devs blog, they split the world onto square chunks (which we have out of the box), do reverse pathfinding over chunks, like Game.map.findRoute but keeping the closed set, and then use standard A* (not even JPS!) with a custom heuristic function to use the saved closed set of chunks search as a guide.

  @sneaky_polar_bear its basically a dice roll if my emergency heal hits the right target or else i lose a creep. Well, you could go with a bigger creep.party, if you loose a creep, there's another to back it up. But as to the actual property request, I like it. Had the same thought||idea myself, the Doc has some other objects aswell which could have more describing properties. Firstly I would've thought PowerCreep, but game flow is based on ticks(a property showing exact time left). Since this thread, quote myself: @detox said in Game.market updates please: Also I think the 100 transaction limit for Game.market.incomingTransactions/Game.market.outgoingTransactions is too short, would be great to get full or at least way more history. Recently thought the Game.market transaction objects should exclude self-sent transactions (from an own room to an own room), or have another object(s) containing only transactions made to other players. At the moment I think Screeps is too SvS oriented. Nice thread.
