I like this idea per se.
But ... I'm not sure I'm going to share my attention between 2 servers with similar gameplay.
The more 'seasonal server' gameplay differs from the main one, the more likely it makes me interested.Thus, my interest in a 'seasonal server' depends on the 'seasonal content'.
Frankly, I'd love to see a completely new gameplay (in addition to the current Screeps) that differs from the 'territory seizure' conception: like PvP (Screeps Arena) or even some classic RPG (where I control a Hero creep, or a group of Heroes, to achieve some objectives in the MMO world)

Thank you for giving attention to this problem, I believe it will help.
However, while the issue exists on production (it does!), I can't consider it 'tested' of 'fixed'.

Not fixed, actually: the issue still exists atm.
(I believe that any fix - urgent or not - requires some testing )
This forum is not for urgent support.
This statement made me surprised: it was not obvious at all. You may want to clarify it here.
Back to the issue: I'll post a ticket to speedup the outcome.

My script's logs and manual observation show absolutely no PowerBanks in the world's edge sector, shard0 (during the last 12 hours at least).
- Is it a bug or a strange PowerBanks generation algorythm?
- If it's a bug - could you debug it please?

I do like this proposal's creativity (it will make Screeps more entertaining), but I'm afraid it will create even more disbalance between low & high GCL players.

Being an active player, I do not post any bugreports anymore, that's the fact.
And my position is: ... it's sad, but it's ok. The game is still too cool as it is now (you did a great job!), I still can play it without communication to devs.
Though, observing the devs' indifference is not a pleasant experience ... that may outweigh the gameplay experience once.
(May a dedicated community manager be the answer?)

It's not an easy choice (for devs) to decide, if they should favor veteran players' interests, or new players' , when creating novice areas. Still, this case is clearly handled by what Artem say ('sign a room prevents it from noobilizing').
The current situation (with a set of signed rooms being noobilized) is an evident act of ignoring game rules. It may be evaluated as disrespect to the veterans, that reduces game interest sugnificaltly.
This issue can be successfully resolved by devs in 2 ways:
1) respect the current game rules
2) update the rules of rooms being noobilized
Both solutions require the novice area in subject being removed, IMO.
I would like our community to praise mutual respect values and I think this situation can be a good step toward it.

My mistake, just found another ticket(633) where Artem says it's a bug and will be fixed someday.
Still, I'd like to leave it as it is now (leave the feature but update the documentation) : the attack-by-move feature is limited with creeps' `fatigue` and is not a 100% alternative to `creep.attack()`.

This feature exists since feb'16 at least. I say it's a feature, cause after private discussion with devs (ticket#584) the 'attack-by-move' wasn't removed.
And .. I do like this feature and use it to melee attack & heal during one tick.
Also, there's no problem for me to walk over a friendly creep - it won't die immidietly and can be healed.
