Script/Console/Memory available even in map view
-
I often want to type console commands or examine memory when I am in the map view. It's inconvenient to have to switch into a room I don't want to view in order to have to do some of the above. This is exacerbated because rooms can be slow to load even on a high-spec PC - typically 3-4 seconds.

Yes, I so want this!

I too would love this! It would make my gameplay experience more streamlined and I would benefit from it on a daily basis.
-
You still can undock console/memory area so it will persist when you switch to a map view.
-
@o4kapuk It won't update though, right? Is the memory viewer functional?
-
@tigga it was last time I checked. You'll just need to add the memory path directly for convenience and hit that 'reload' button once in a while.
Also the logs update as well.

@o4kapuk How does the memory viewer know which shard to look at when you pull it away from the main window?
-
It is a new window, not a new /different program.
