RE: Game.cpu.generatePixel change
I brought this up on slack and it actually got more approval than I expected.
Remove pixel generation entirely and remove the ability to buy and sell pixels on the market. Make it a 100% cosmetic currency that can only be purchased with $$. That's probably the only actual way to balance it. I've been farming credits selling pixels to the point that credits don't matter anymore so you've basically broken your game economy more than it already was.
RE: Beta Map - Same color as plains
I'm fine with player icons being hard to see because of the color choice, but the actual creeps and structures should be plainly visible on the map. The Green/Red on the original map works (maybe add some toggles for specific color blindness) just make that the default on the new map until you sort out the color issue.
Rampart Max HP
I don't think there's any huge disagreement that the max hp for ramps and walls is a bit absurd. I propose decreasing the max on both substantially and having ramparts have a lower cap than walls.
This will help combat turtling/stagnation of the users that have max ramparts and aren't worth the effort to try and kill. Also by having ramparts being lower than walls it creates weak points in barriers and encourages the use of more intricate defenses rather than just surrounding yourself in ramparts. (A rampart is basically the gate in a medieval wall sense, the gate is typically the weakest part of a wall but obviously has the benefit that it's able to be used to pass the wall. Them having the same HP cap doesn't make any sense)
RE: Decorations update
The "Alpha" map being absolute junk aside (very haphazard use of the term Alpha but whatever)
The floor/wall textures make some rooms literally painful to look at. Everything else is cool and lets the player customize, but the ability to change floor and wall textures doesn't seem like it was very thought out.
RE: Discussion: long-range logistics revamp
This just seems like one of those ideas where it feels unnecessary. Why not flesh out power creeps more or make commodities less useless. More depth there would help more than another min/max tool that a small percentage of your playerbase will use

I would hope that the time spent on the chronicle, videos, etc would turn out to be really good marketing for you and end up paying for itself. Obviously that may or may not be the reality but I'm sure we all wish for screeps continued success
Unfortunately, we don't have resources to invest into marketing this way, and we have to consider this seasonal project paid work rather than investment. We're a lean startup with a small team and no outside funding.
Semi off topic, has outside funding been looked for? I'd imagine outside of the usual game investors you'd be able to sell the product well to educational groups, etc..
