RE: XSolla Redirect
My bookmark is my profile page so when I click one of my rooms it sends me to a link that initially says xsolla and then redirects to (https://screeps.com/?utm_source=cityads&utm_campaign=SCREEPS&tracking_id=XkWAI9XwPqt4jMK1HsZeZ4FrZ4PGp1q6) tracking_id varies.
Past couple weeks.
I just had it occur and had inspected the page prior and didn't see anything obvious.
So if I come and use the webclient there's times where I'll click on something and an XSolla window will pop open trying to get me to buy a sub. It's typically on the first click of the day so I'm assuming it's a cookie/session entry or something that expires.
Ignoring that I have a sub that I buy thru steam (f xsolla) why the hell does this game now have popups. And who thought that was a good idea?
Ramparts should be weaker than walls and they both need a nerf
Turtling is killing the game.
The game in it's current state heavily favors players who turtle behind super high ramparts. Once your code reaches a certain level of energy income there's 0 reason to even build a wall instead of a rampart. This is clearly an issue.
Ramparts should be a weak point in a static perimeter, they should be looked at as gates and portholes that can exploited by an attacker.
As far as numbers go I think both walls and ramparts max hits needs a look, but RAMPART_HITS_MAX should be a significant amount less than WALL_HITS_MAX.
Also I would not be opposed to adding a slow decay to walls to help counter the loss of an energy sink.
As far as implementing it, it's a matter of tweaking those constants and allowing the currently built things to decay down to them. Code should be using those constants anyway so it shouldn't break anything that doesn't need to be broken (USE THE CONSTANTS!).
RE: Cannot cancel orders on a shard you no longer occupy
Here's an idea:
- Go to the shard selection screen.
- Take 1 CPU off your current shard and add it to another shard.
- Save your changes.
- Go to any room on the old shard.
- If you're viewing any room on your original shard, you should be able to cancel the order through the console there.
- Wait 12 hours, then reset your CPU to what it was originally.
might work, but I should be able to cancel an order via it's ID regardless imo
Cannot cancel orders on a shard you no longer occupy
I have orders on shard0 from a long time ago but I am unable to cancel them (get -10 error) as I have long since moved shards and have no presence on shard0.
