It's a cool concept, well thought out, and yet I really don't like it.

Nukes are already really powerful for what they are: they need to be nerfed, not buffed. The whole thing with nukes is that they are absurdly easy to code for, and in a coding game, that should be punished.

Plus adding another mineral would break like 90% of people's base planning and mineral harvesting code. This isn't just potential, and the fact that it decays does little to quell the harm. I'm all for changing the game, but if you're adding new stuff, make sure only zombies (very inactive players) are the ones who get harmed.

The strategy was a key component in taking a room from the best player in the game, something that almost certainly wouldn't have happened if nukes weren't so helpful in resetting safemode. @o4kapuk would you be willing to comment on what you think about this abuse and if anything will be changed? This tactic really hurts combat and the concept of strategy in the game.

I've also experienced this, I think only with the desktop client.

Anyways to give you a brief answer, you'll want to use FIND_TOMBSTONES instead of FIND_DROPPED_RESOURCES. Then filter tombstones with store.* values matching what resources you want. https://docs.screeps.com/api/#Room.find

While trying to record for a private server, Bot Arena, Screeps Warfare Championship or any other worthwhile desktop-only feature of Screeps there is a black bar above and below the content.

This is because fullscreen is not possible with the desktop client. I think this is considered a technical issue. Please fix / add this feature for people who want to make videos about Screeps outside of MMO and seasonal.

What shard are you on? Note that shard 3 doesn't allow more than 20 CPU in use there.

When trying to re-link my GitHub repo to my Screeps account (it wasn't uploading changes, which is an entirely separate bug) I tried clicking on the sync from repository button but it simply played an animation and stopped. I'm not sure the cause or how to reproduce. It should have taken me to a page where I could link my repo to my account.

I figured out what was wrong. If I type the invite link in the URL bar and press enter, it gives me that "No Text Channels" error page. But if I copy and paste the link in a Discord DM and then click the Join button, it works.

Hope this helps. If it doesn't you can try other options like using a VPN or making a new account. By the way make sure you don't have an adblocker on and you've accepted the server rules if they've been offered.

I have recently created the alliance To Much Bacon Alliance, but am facing some errors:

I am unable to add a slack shortcut, change the abbreviation / the alliances name, or anything else involving the save button. When I attempt to save, I am met with the error "500 something may be on fire". It has been like this for nearly a month. I am however able to submit certain things, such as the alliance logo, inviting new users, and the Charter.

Via Alliance Index, at least for myself, you cannot view the alliance. It gives you the error "404 page not found".

Please help with whatever is going on here, as I would love to edit my alliance to my liking to begin recruiting new members. Thanks!

Not a huge problem, just wondering how to get alliance emojis in your username, such as the YP's and the >SUN? (I realize you use them through set status, I just don't know how to get an emoji into there). Thanks!
