This is most likely due to Github changing what authentication methods are allowed to be used for 3rd party apps when connecting to a repository. Hey, just a heads up, alliances have nothing to do with the actual game. LoAN and the concept of alliances was created by the community and is not recognized in-game. the best bet for support would be hopping in the #loan channel in the slack.

if you're trying to create an alliance emoji in slack, go to this page to upload it. https://screeps.slack.com/customize/emoji once youre done with that, you can go to "edit status" in slack, and select an emoji and a line of text for your account.
