Will the private server support the API?

Will the API be available over this server? I ask because I want to know if tools such as the interactive console will eventually be able to work with the private servers.

Private servers already have a set of HTTP endpoints which you can use as an API in the same way as the official server. However, since there is no password authentication, you have to come up with your own auth system or use Steam auth tickets. See this thread.

ags131 already has an api key mod for us that works!
