-
This post describes changes on the Public Test Realm. The estimated launch date is May 12.
-
RoomObject
prototype now doesn’t have theid
property. -
Flag
prototype is now derived fromRoomObject
. - PTR API documentation has been updated.
-
-
Looking through the new documentation now, It looks a lot more structured now.
One this I came across was that the PTR api reference still says Flag has an ID: http://support.screeps.com/hc/en-us/articles/206129831-Flag#id

-
Fixed.

Cool thanks, cleaned up my original post as it cluttered the page.
-
The change with dedicated pages for each structure is very nice and provides a good overview of all the important properties.
One thing though:
Links have 800 Energy (Docs still say 500)
An overview of all inherited properties would be handy (e.g. as expandable list below the native properties) to not have to switch to different pages all the time.
Adding the relevant constants would be a nice bonus. E.g. for Links LINK_HITS, LINK_HITS_MAX, LINK_CAPACITY, LINK_COOLDOWN, LINK_LOSS_RATIO
-
oh I love that you included the RCL restrictions on each structures page. Maybe I can stop searching for that Global Control Article 5 times a day now
-
I will miss the nice overview table for the different Structures that is in the current Structure Article though. Then again thats probably just because I'm so used to it.
-
There should really be direct links to the important and heavily used non-API documentation. They're unnecessarily hard to find at the moment.

All knowledge base articles are listed here (big “How to Play” button on the main page in the Support Center).

Yeah, so if you are for example looking at the API reference for Mineral, and you wonder what they do, you need to click at:
- Screep Support Center
- How to Play
- See all 10 articles
- Minerals
Simple!
