error: 'branch does not exist' (grunt-screeps)


  • This morning I started getting this error when grunt tries to push to my screeps account:

    Running "screeps:dist" (screeps) task
>> Error while commiting to Screeps: { error: 'branch does not exist' }

    A few other people in the #screeps IRC chat room are experiencing the same thing as of today, so it's not just my configuration.

    I did not update my npm packages or anything, it just stopped working leading me to suspect that the problem is server-side.. Was anything changed this morning (it's 11:46PM here right now).


  • I am trying to push to default branch still and haven't changed any config since it last worked.
