Move Tutorial Completion to Account Instead of Cookie


  • I may be wrong, but from what I can tell one's tutorial completion status is cookie-based, meaning every time one's cookies are cleared, one is redirected to the tutorial upon login.

    For someone who, for various reasons, has cookies cleared after every browser session, this becomes a bit of a nuisance as the tutorial is loaded every time the day's first login is performed (or multiple times if the browser is closed, such as during a system restart or for other reasons).

    My request would be that tutorial completion status be flagged on accounts themselves to avoid unecessary tutorial redirects.

  • Technically I think it's local storage rather than cookies, but the effect is the same. It's annoying when a new browser logs you into the tutorial.
