Editor: Problem writing ~ and # on azerty keyboards

  • Pressing the Alt Gr key and either the 2 or 3 key in order to print ~ or # respectively, in the editor, switches to the Console and Memory tab, respectively.

  • That's a french azerty right? Because there is a belgian azerty as well... (at least I'm using querty, bit mixed with azerty for the ยจ character)

At least the first 6 numeric normal keys (shift and non-shift, so without the alt combo's) are behaving the same, the character gets priority over the number. Or differently said, you have to press shift before you can enter a number.

  • This seems to be pretty well documented on wikipedia though... And since my previous was an apple, I know the pain of different keyboard problems as well for them (though I do care a LOT less with us standard qwerty, except for the keys it doesn't have)

    Anyway...

We can only hope the different needs of keyboards doesn't require unnecessary developer graveyards ๐Ÿ˜‰
