Better handling of PTR accounts
-
There should be an option to make the PTR more accessible.
Atm, if you were absent for a week or so, you might have to respawn, because all your controllers went down. This leads to people not really using the PTR and you bring a lot of bugs to the live platform, because no one is willing to test it thoroughly.
EIther freeze the rooms (controllers, roads and ramparts do not deteriorate) or even better, give the user an option to copy their current live data to the PTR.
This would greatly help us to be able to "test things when we are ready to" and you get more feedback.
Also, the deactivation of the CPU supscription should:
1) not lead to an email warning (=confusing!)
2) somehow be preventable upfront, so there will be no break (e.g. if the subscription ends sometime during the night).

> give the user an option to copy their current live data to the PTR
This feature is on our todo list.
> 1) not lead to an email warning (=confusing!)
PTR doesn't generate any emails currently.
> 2) somehow be preventable upfront, so there will be no break (e.g. if the subscription ends sometime during the night).
Just click that "Activate" button again at any time.

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it! 1) and 2) seem fine to me.
Regarding the mails: I got several warning mails in the past, which can't be from the live system, since I'm still running on the old model (for probably another 2 months or so). In case you fixed that, I appreciate it.

Yes, it has been fixed recently.
