A new era is coming.

Automated screeps are doing their jobs, upgrading, harvesting and wandering about. The chemists and the labs are researching and producing new compounds each day.
During these researches the chemist thought he found a new stable chemical, Ghodium.
He wanted to show his hive-controller this new chemical he was so fond of. While traveling to him he accedentilly dropped it on energy, with a chemical reaction as a result.

He nearly blew himself up.

With this new knowledge the chemist went to work. He researched this reaction more thoroughly, trying to contain it!
After countles of ticks pondering, renewing, pondering some more he found a solution. What he found was scary, yet effective.

 

The nuclear missile was born.
The spies of the opposite swarm quickly learned of this new development of weapons of mass destruction. They went on and used their powerfull observer-tech to obtain the blueprints of this new weapon.

The immenent threat of the effect of such an attack sunk in.

Quickly after, the borders grew cold. Wars stopped. Everyone waiting for the next move.....

The cold era has begun.
