Performance issue with memory watch list

Every few days it seems like my game performance starts to bog down whether it is the client or the browser and I couldn't figure out why. I just recently found the problem, over time things are getting added to the memory watch list automatically somehow and as that list grows the game animations start to stutter. Clearing the memory watch list immediately fixes the problem. I've tried this a couple times and folks in the slack chat also confirmed it.
At first I thought they were being added to the watch list whenever you click on something that has memory, but that doesn't seem to be the case, so I'm not sure why they are getting added. I very rarely use "view memory" so that can't be the reason. Tons of creeps and flags added in there that I'm not sure why.
Using chrome v51.0.2704.106 (64-bit) on Ubuntu but it is also in Steam client and I noticed the same thing when in Windows.

Yes, this is a known issue, we're going to address it in one of the next patches.
