Agreed, I have watched three of my preferred rooms be taken over already.

I am also getting a 200 - "Not Allowed" on the place-spawn

Same situation. I click in an area that is valid for a spawn point, the activity bar at the top flashes, but no spawn point appears. I also tried the re-spawn option as well. I purchased my credits today immediately after launch.
