Email notifications send interval

I have set my send interval to hourly and errors to daily.
However, each consecutive email gets delayed by 1 minute.E.g. the first email comes in at 6:00, then the second comes at 7:01, the third at 8:02.
This applies to both, hourly and daily report intervals. I didn't test the others, but I assume they have the same problem.
