@artch It seems to have done i am now able to get in to the server with no issues

@o4kapuk it seems to not have an effect, i can see the server selection but when connecting to a server i get the same black screen

@turuko @o4kapuk it seems i might have been to fast, i can launch the game and the main menu/server selection seems to work, but when i connect to the official server i end up with another black box:

Hi, i am trying to launch the game from steam but when the game gets past the loading screen i am unable to see the menu as there is a black box sort of overlaying part of the screen that stays in place meaning when i scroll down the menu the box follows the scroll:

I have tried reinstalling the game, relauching steam, and disconnecting monitors as that seems to have helped some but thus far to no avail.
