Didn't notice the StructureController.progressTotal property and had assumed that it levels up to 8 on the 10.9M value which it appeared to be stuck on all day.
Room controller is now LVL 8 as expected and the StructureController.progressTotal property was very helpful in checking this.

What happened? The controller in one of my rooms (E39N28) managed to reach 10.9M progress. its still stuck on level 7 with 10.9M progress
What should have happened? Room controller should have gone up to level 8
How can we reproduce this? Try leveling up the room controller past 7. Unsure if other controller levels are affected

I tried this previously on an Android phone and it just isn't possible. Even if the GUI worked better it's hard when the keyboard takes up the entire screen space. It's also a nightmare to try and navigate the code using a phone.
I have had success using Screeps on a chromebook, works perfect. I know its not as portable as a phone but it's around the same size as a tablet and it runs android apps.
Ran the "verify integrity of game files" and all files are present.

Checked folder 'S:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Screeps\server\node_modules' and it only contains the TooAngel workshop mod
Downloaded @screeps/simplebot from the workshop and that has now appeared in the folder after adding it to the server mod list. Expected this to already be a part of screeps. I've included the updated log below

I've launched a private server through the Screeps interface in Steam and connected to the local host.
No game ticks are occurring on my local server; i.e., I can start the server, connect to it with the client, and place a Spawn, but nothing happens; my scripts are not run, my Safe Mode timer does not decrement.
So I paused my Anti-Virus and the Safe Mode timer is now decrementing but nothing else has changed. This time I lauched screeps as an Administrator and again launched the server through the Screeps interface in Steam but it's still the same.
I've added a simple scripts to just run a console message but nothing appears. And then I installed the TooAngel bot just to make sure I wasn't going mad. Added the TooAngel bot to a room, Low and behold TooAngel just sits there also.....
Any ideas???

@tigga I sort of expected it to be a child of the wall object. Although you are correct about the world already existing. I guess you could replace some of the already existing walls with water, although this may not look as good as it could be.
Maybe it would be worth coming up with multiple ideas that require the world to be regenerated and start replacing empty sections of the world. I know it's pretty empty near me right now. And the world map looks like it's stitched together in chunks.
Can we get an impassible water tile?
This would act as a natural barrior like wall but would give the world a bit more colour. Water tiles can be strung together to form a river which creeps can only cross if a bridge is constructed (this can just be the normal road structure)
Perhaps a future update could make use of water as a natural resource.
