It would be neat if we could build something like an invader core that keeps a room reserved for ourselves.

There would have to be restrictions of course. Like it costs 1 energy per tick to perform its reserve action and you have to deliver energy to it to keep it going.

Maybe it takes 20 CLAIM parts to create one, which means only an RCL 8 room can create one. Maybe the 20 part CLAIM creep transforms into the construction site for it.

Maybe it also counts against your GCL to place one.

It would allow for interesting interactions to take place outside of a player's room other than fighting for resources on a highway.

Since you have to place energy in it, you have to guard it or someone can take the energy out.

You can use it to block someone from taking a room until they destroy it.

Etc.
