]]>http://screeps.com/forum/post/13572http://screeps.com/forum/post/13572Invalid Date<![CDATA[Reply to Can I build a spawn in an extra room I took over, which just has RCL 1? on Invalid Date]]>You can control as many rooms as you have GCL (Global Control Level) to do so, currently on the live server you seem to be GCL 1, meaning you can control / build in the one room you spawned in.

Once you hit GCL 2 you can then claim another room with a creep with at least one CLAIM part. Once claimed, you can build / upgrade this room as well.

The level of the controller will depend on what you can build there, see: Docs: Control for more information. You can see your GCL on the overview tab by the way, or by calling it w/ Game.gcl['level']
