Attack notification if I dismantle my structures

I wanted to do a little relayout of my room and instead of destroying structures I desided that my creeps should dismantle them to get a little energy back.

A few minutes later I reveived a notification (via mail) that my room is under attack.

Why do I get notified if creeps I own dismantle structures I own in one of my rooms?

Because it triggers the PVP action.

One way around this is to use the notifyWhenAttacked(false) function on any structures you are dismantling.

Unfortunately that doesn't really answer the question why dismantling my structres with my creeps is considered an attack or PVP action.
