@jeb Looks like it was a Steam issue. The appmanifest file that gets created for installs and updates is missing for Screeps at around the time I performed the update. My guess is that the Steam client retried the download for you sometime later whereas I was way too impatient for it. lol

@jeb That's what I was noticing with mine as well. Issue may be with the Steam client erroring out while downloading updates or treating it as complete while it is still in progress.

Had the same issue. Steps to fix.

• Uninstall Screeps via steam.

• Goto your steam folder and delete the Screeps folder. (ex: Steam\steamapps\common\Screeps)

• Install Screeps via Steam.

I attempted the other fixes recommended before this and they did not work.
